Waking Up

It is so fun to see that Meg is really "waking up". She's at the stage where she crosses her eyes struggling to focus on objects and people. Cole and Ben are so wonderful with her! They can't wait for her to wake up in the morning and they are so excited when she comes to pick them up from school. They love to entertain her in the afternoons. My favorite part of the day, however, is bedtime when we all pile up in our bed & say our prayers. The boys want her right between them & they each hold one of her hands while they say their prayers and thank God for their baby sister. It is my prayer that they will always love her as much as they do now.

In the evenings we always play outside (weather permitting, of course) after it cools off a bit. Today was the first time that Meg actually stayed awake to watch the boys. And oh my how they performed for her. I'm not sure how much of it she could actually see, but like a little lady she sat there looking in their direction with a content little look on her face. She was so good to wait until it got too dark for the boys play before she fell asleep in Ben's lap.
