While there the kiddos enjoyed playing on the playground.
Then we all got to pet/hold/pull the ears of the animals.
The boys spent a lot of time burying each other in the corn (For the record, I am still finding corn in my house!),
while Meg just enjoyed throwing the corn.
We went out to the pumpkin patch where Ben raced off the trailer to pick out the first pumpkin. (Yes, everything is competition with him!)
Then Cole found the first of 2 that he had to have. He already has big carving plans for each.
Meg just enjoyed trying to pick up all the pumpkins, no matter how big or small.
But in the end, I just bought her a little pumpkin from the barn that was just her size, because she was determined she would carry her own!
And finally here's where the "corny" story begins...
The boys were so excited about the corn maze. I'll admit that I thought it looked really fun too! I stayed a few steps behind taking pictures of the boys as they were running & taking turns picking which way to go. I was laughing at Meg trying her best to keep up with them. After several twists & wrong turns, Meg throws on her brakes. She starts hollering "I need poo-poo!" & she starts squatting. I threw the camera at Ryan, trying not to panic & took off running my hardest as I was running over people who were entering the maze. Thank God that I never made one wrong turn getting back out of the entrance! I ran at full speed all the way to the lovely porta-potty where I begged her not to touch anything. So just a little advice from me...take your baby to the porta-potty before entering a corn maze!
