Thankful Thursday #9

Just reflecting on what I am most thankful for in 2008...

*I am thankful that our family grew! This year has been so much fun as we anticipated and prepared for our new arrival. It has brought me such joy to see the excitement that the boys have had in anticipation of a baby sister. I am so thankful that her arrival was quick :) and that she arrived into this world perfectly whole and healthy!

*I am thankful for jobs and income. I can't imagine what this year has been like for so many people. We have been blessed beyond belief--for the first time in a couple of years we have actually been able to pay off some debt instead of incurring more.

*I am thankful for health--good health! I am so thankful that other than our annual Christmas cooties, I don't think anyone went to the doctor for sickness all year. WOW!

*I am thankful for friends. Yeah, you know who you are! For years I prayed for real friendships. God definitely heard that one and continues to bless me beyond belief.

*I am thankful for love! And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. I Cor 13:13. No boubt about that, there is absolutley nothing that lifts me up like being loved and loving others!
