You Be the Judge

I've learned that everyone has an opinion on who your children look and act like. I've also learned that no one hesitates to share that opinion with you. When it comes to my children, since I know them better than anyone else here's my opinion on the subject. I definitely think that Meg looks most like Cole. She shares many of his facial features. Her face is shaped like his. Her body is long and very skinny just like his. She likes the same foods and dislikes the same foods that he did at this age. She is a Mama's girl just like he was a Mama's boy. Personality-wise I think she is somewhere in between my extremely different boys.

Or I thought that until today!

On a typical school afternoon, Cole comes home and shoots hoops, throws football or catches baseballs for a couple of hours. He then comes in and does his homework without having to be told.

On a typical school afternoon, Ben comes home suits up in his coveralls, puts on his helmet and takes off on his 4-wheeler. He rides wide open, over dirt hills, getting stuck and flipping over until it's too dark to see outside.

On this school afternoon, my sweet little Baby Cakes decided that she would lay across the kitchen table.

NO, I didn't lay her across the table like that! This is how she landed right after she figured out how to Houdini herself right out of her Bumbo.
