Are y'all lovin' this weather as much as we are??? I am so thankful for these cooler temperatures, low humidity & the beautiful sunshine we've been enjoying the last few days. I really needed it! Things have been so hectic the last few weeks that I haven't had much time to do anything but run-in-and-out here-and-there from one air conditioned oasis to another.
But I need to be outside! And to be honest I don't want to be outside when it's crazy hot. I need to breathe fresh air, go on evening walks with the kiddos, see the mountains that surround us & sit outback to watch the boys catch fish. There is something about those moments that remind me to slow down & breathe. I need those moments to commune with God. Those moments remind me that He (not me!) is THE Creator of all the joy in my life. Sometimes I just really need that reminder!

Love those smiles!! And yes you're right.... I just did my Thankful Thurs and I forgot to be thankful for the beautiful weather! We have been enjoyin it too, especially since Sam has started fall ball!! Looks like next week is gonna be cool outside too, YEA!!

This weather has been amazing! How fun that ya'll can fish right in your back yard. That is nice! Your boys are just growing up.
Lovin' the weather! Me and summer don't get along...and I don't even have curly hair! So, do you fry up those fish, or throw them back in? I don't see you as someone who would cook them. I'm just sayin'...

We leave tomorrow morning for our trip!!! I am so excited. We will be home next Sunday afternoon.

y'all are too funny...NO i don't cook the fish. i tell the boys that we throw them back in so they'll be bigger next year. i just keep putting them off =)
