Praise The Lord!

I can't believe the difference a couple of days prayer makes! I am elated to say that I can't believe this is the same baby who was so very sick just 2 days ago. She is actually smiling, holding her head up & once again very curious about all things brothers. She has no fever & her snot is clearer (is that a word?) and there is much less of it. However, she does still have a nasty chest cough so she'll be sleeping upright in her carrier at least a couple more days/nights, but we can certainly deal with that!

Is this really the same baby that we thought would
be going to the hospital today?

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who prayed in faith for Meg to feel better! Prayer works...there is no other explanation for her amazing turn-around.

I wanted to share that often when I'm really praying about something, I will just open the Bible, point my finger & see what it lands on. (By the way, does anyone else do that?) When I was praying a prayer of thanksgiving this morning, my finger landed on the passage where Peter denied Jesus. Quite convicting! I don't want to be guilty of denying that this was a God-thing. I have NEVER seen such a sick baby get well so fast! At times I am guilty of having explanations for how things just work out for the best when I really ought to just Praise The Lord for his awesomeness and for what He alone is able to do...there's no denying His power!

It is great to hear that Meg is feeling better. I feel your pain with having a sick baby. Gracie has been dealing with colds and ear infections for a couple of months. I thought I was going to do as you mentioned on Anna's blog... stay home in our safe little bubble until the bugs are all gone!
