While We're on the Subject

the subject of things that I don't like about being a parent, that is.

I really don't like when I'm correcting my precious son when he looks at me and says (and I will quote)..."blah, blah, blah". Yep, that'll get you a nice swift whipping to start your day off! I bet you can't guess which of my precious children would be the guilty party ;) OH, that's right...surely you remember that post about the little boy who broke the green spatula.
And, back to what I like the very least about parenting...thank you all so much for your comments & sweet e-mails offering prayers on Meg's behalf. She is about the same today, which at this point is good.

I dread the sarcastic little remarks that come as kids get older. We're not quite there yet, but will be before we know it. I am so sorry Meg got RSV. That can be scary with a little one. I will be remembering her in my prayers. Hope she gets over it soon.

I am definitely not looking forward to those days, either. Right now, my kids don't have the words to fight back with, but they definitely have the looks.
