What I Like Least About Being a Parent...

is trying to figure out what's wrong with sick babies! I forgot how it breaks my heart to hold a crying, snotty, burning up baby while waiting...waiting...waiting until we can finally get worked in to see the doctor (and not our doctor, of course, because he's not in today or any other day that my kids are sick). I realize now that I really take for granted the fact the boys can tell me what hurts or that they can run to the bathroom to avoid puking on the couch.

And, what I like even less is when you finally see the doctor and he comes in to tell you that your baby has RSV. So now we're in "holding our breath" mode for the next 48 hours...you know holding our breath, hoping & praying that we don't end up in the hospital.

So what do you like least about being a parent because let's be honest...sometimes being a parent is just NO FUN AT ALL?!?

I'm sorry- that must be such an awful feeling to not know what is wrong. I hope she is better soon. Linking would be fine :) I will do the same if that is ok. I will say a prayer for you'll.

Isn't it always something. I know exactly how guessing and waiting is so frustrating. I sure hate little Meg is sick. Both of my kiddos had RSV and no hospital stays so hopefully you won't either. Thoughts and prayers for you and baby.

sounds like an answered prayer that you saw a different doc...some of them won't do "rsv" tests. :Z
