Halloween Night

What an awesome Halloween!  After talk of rain all week, it was great to see they got it wrong...a little cool, but a perfect night nonetheless.  We spent the evening with our best friends...some who are big kids & like to dress up, too!

Our chili supper + mummy dogs + cornbread + cookies + homemade cheesecake=one happy Mama!

Back here, I asked for guesses on what my little spooks were going to be.
Well, here they are....

I've never let the boys dress up very scary, but this year Cole & his best friend went all out with the grim reapers.  Their faces were painted with glow-in-the-dark paint & it was super creepy!

Ben was Davy Crockett...the silly, don't-want-to-get-my-picture-made version.

Meg was a little ghost.

For you super-crafty gals out there, check out the little ghost bow that my Mom got for her.

Brooke picked 2 out of 3!  Way to go...I've got a little prize for you.  Here's a hint...

Our night concluded with trick-or-treating with their best friends.

Meg's favorite part of trick-or-treating....
stealing dum-dums!

Love the costumes! Maybe I'll branch out a little next year and let my kids go scary. :)

Meant to tell you on a previous post...love that letter you did! Very cute!! What did you use to make it?
