That's what Relay for Life is all about!
We celebrate with survivors...
Survivor, friend & fellow firefighter, David Robinson
We remember those that have been lost...I enjoyed spending time with April's mother & other friends who have lost loved ones.
We fight back by participating in Relay for Life and raising much needed funds for cancer research.
The kiddos had a great time...as they always do.
Until Cole felt like he was going to throw up and we had to quickly leave.
I was so sad to miss the Luminaria Ceremony...it is my favorite part of Relay and the first I've ever missed. But I sure didn't want him sick in the dark stadium ruining what is truly a sacred moment.
Relay for Life takes place each year in communities everywhere! If you haven't participated in the past, I encourage you to consider joining in the fun & the fight!!! You can click the link on my left sidebar to connect to the Relay for Life website for more information.

Glad you were able to enjoy Relay for a while, I so plan to be there next year!!!! And I hope Cole is feeling all better now!!
I am glad Relay for Life went well this year. You dedicate so much time and energy to such a good cause. I know you are doing a lot of good, Joy! Also, I saw your post on your Thankful Thursday. I am thankful that Abbie, Bailey and Noah are going to have you and Roni as their teachers. I know they'll be in good hands! Hopefully they'll be sweet and behave. :)
