fun & games

It's true what they say: It's better to give than to receive! I have had so much fun hosting the give-aways this week! I hope ya'll have had as much fun as me. And how about my awesome friends who pitched in to make this so much fun? I hope you'll keep paigeandbrooke, Sisterbug Embroidery & Ashlee Cooper in mind and visit their blogs often. I've enjoyed this so much in fact, that I've already got a few ideas for some random give-aways in the future. So I hope you'll keep checking in with us throughout the summer!

While it's been all fun & games in the blog world, it has been nothing short of one of the busiest weeks I've had in a long time. I really thought that things would slow down with the boys out of school, but boy was I wrong!

We started off the week with a pretty low-key Memorial Day since Daddy had to work =( It seems like Ryan always has to work on those "everybody else is at the lake" holidays. It's a bummer! Our favorite part of the day was the trip to Bruster's!

Then Baby Cakes had her 9 month check-up, shots & blood-work =(
Her Daddy had a little procedure done this week to ensure that Baby Cakes will indeed always be THE baby!

The boys have both been at UAH baseball camp all week. They have loved every minute of it, but are worn out.

In addition to camp, they have both finished up their regular seasons. Ben has L.O.V.E.D. getting to playing catcher. The minute second the ball is hit, he slings his helmet off & is all over that ball!

And, Cole won 2 game balls this week. One for being the winning pitcher & the other for some awesome plays he made @ 1st base.

Daddy even got in on the pitching action during Ben's last game of the season...which he obviously wasn't planning to do! Just check out his cleats camo crocs...only in the South =)

I have spent the week being a giver, a nurse, a taxi-driver, a cheerleader, a late-night blogger & the lover of my 4 favorite people on this earth!!!
