The Best Things Times in Life are Free!

My mission this summer...free (or nearly free) activities! This may be a real challenge, but so far we're doing pretty good! Today we played lots of baseball in the yard, followed by a trip to the library & some splashing in the fountains. I was worried the boys might be feeling like they were too big for the fountains this summer, but these pictures definitely prove otherwise!

Any of you have suggestions on the quest for a fun (care)free summer???

They look like they are having so much fun! :) There are free movies at Bridgestreet on Mondays and Wednesdays @ 11:00. You can find a list of movies they are showing on their website. We do the library a lot, too. There are the Concert in the Parks at Big Spring Park on Monday nights and in the courtyard of the Westin at Bridgestreet on Tuesday nights. We've been hitting up Chick-fil-A on Tues. mornings, too, this month for their free chicken biscuits. :)

Love those pictures! It looks like you all had the place to yourself. It is amazing how many free things that there are to do around town. I know that you are making some great summertime memories that your boys will remember for a lifetime.

anna...we love the concerts @ the park too!

sunny...we sooooooo did not have the place to ourselves. i did some excellent cropping if i do say so myself! i'm always amazed at what adults will wear (READ: not wear) to that fountain!

leslie...must get together! can't wait to see the house! the fountain is directly behind early works.
