Especially on days like yesterday when you have to do grown-up things like get eyeglasses. He looks so handsome & so much older. But to him, they're still glasses...glasses he doesn't want to have to wear. I remember feeling the exact same way when I got my first pair at just about the same age.

I got mine in the 4th grade. They were light pink. I was already the fat girl and then I had to get glasses. The joys of childhood.
He is cute in them though. I am sure he will be so thankful that his mom's friends think he looks handsome. :)
Awww! He looks so handsome and grown up! I had some big pink think glasses I wore at about his age...with a big perm to go along with it. :) I think his mom helped him make a great choice!
meant to say "thick" glasses :)
Wow! What a good lookin' kid! He looks so much older. But they don't care at that age if they look older do they? I always tell Brayden when it is something he doesn't like (haircut, clothes, etc.) that he looks almost old enough to drive a car and his attitude completely changes.
I got mine in 4th grade. They were lavender, and thankfully not the horrible huge ones that most people had back then. I was the odd kid that actually wanted them. I got over it though.

tell cole jake said, "cool, i like 'em!" and matt said, "i wish i had glasses."
if that doesn't make him feel better...i don't know what will. ;)
He looks great and the glasses look really cool! Your kids are just so adorable.
Cole looks great in those glasses. I got mine in 3rd grade, so I know how he feels. Hopefully he can get contacts when he is a little older.
