Thankful Thursday

{preface} I have never lived where any of my family members live, that is with the exception of a brief period of time in Tennessee when my aunt & uncle lived in the same small town as us, before we all packed up & moved in different directions. (I should mention that my memories of them include sleeping in a refrigerator box with sky lights cut out in the middle of their living room floor, cinnamon rolls for breakfast always, them giving me my first ever TV for my bedroom [which was black & white, by the way] & going through my uncle's [who was a DJ at the time] collection of 45's...lots of good memories!) But, I know I've missed out not having family close by!

I love that Ryan's family all live close by. No, I really do! I am so thankful that my kiddos have cousins close by. Cousins to grow up with & have all sorts of fun with get into all sorts of trouble with. I am so thankful for the blessing of family! I am so thankful that God has blessed us all with children around the same ages who love to play together. Hearing them beg to play together, seeing them play with one another, hearing them cry because they couldn't spend the night together (until they begged until Grammy gave in) & my personal favorite...listening to them whine as I was kickin' their booties playing soccer...these all brought me {joy} this week!

I am so thankful for these girls...
and these boys...
even when they act like this for a picture!

So, let's hear it...where did you find {joy} this week?

How sweet! I would love to be closer to our families.

My joy this week has been looking back through pics of our wedding! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful hubby.
He has been wonderful with everything we have going on. He keeps telling me everything WILL be ok and we WILL be parents on day.

I love the pics!!!

My joy this week has been working with my hubby. I know work isn't suppose to be fun, but it has been great just having a little time with him with no kiddos.
