Dear Kiddos,

Lately there have been so many changes going on with all 3 of you.  I just wish I could make time stand still!

Having you, my oldest child hit the double digits sure didn't help any!

I can't believe that you've given up your glasses (even if you got a little extra incentive since we lost them.  And don't worry sweet boy, I know it wasn't you that put them on the bumper of Daddy's truck just before he drove off with them.) and traded them in for contacts.

Makes me kinda sad.  I got used to seeing you in those cute little glasses.  Contacts.  Really?  You are also get a little too attitude-y these days.  I know it's just your age, but gosh, you've always been my sweet boy.  You can read over 300 words per minute, you've completed your 1st research paper (which you got an A+ on) & I think you might just be getting smarter than me.  I also can't believe that we can now wear the same size shoes (although it does come in handy as I'm running out the door in the morning, since you usually leave a pair by the backdoor).

Ben, although it's about time, I hate that you keep losing all those cute little baby teeth.

I've always heard that the later you get them, the later you lose them.  You've now lost 4 on the bottom.  None on the top, although that shark tooth is so wiggly, yet hanging on so tight.  You are now reading up a storm, learning math facts, having all grades above 95 & quizzing me.  You continue to run circles around me (all of us, for that matter!).  You are getting taller & your pants are all getting shorter.

And little Baby Cakes, despite the week you've had & despite the fact that you cut your top molars (which I never even realized until they were through) we have enjoyed some quiet moments together.

You are enjoying sitting at the little table in the playroom these days drawing, coloring, working puzzles & having me trace your hand over & over & over & over & ........
You are all over the place.  You like to take your shoes off & on (which you know drives me crazy).  You love when you see me bring out the laundry basket, especially if you can find some of your brothers' underwear to wear.

You talk when you want to & I love that you can say "I love you".  I just can't believe that you, my last baby are getting so big!  {Sigh.}

I know you can't stay little forever, but can y'all just promise to stay sweet & cute (with a little less attitude. ahem.)?

Hugs & Kisses,
Mommy
